Vision
Following in the footsteps of Jesus…

When the crowds found out about it, they followed him, and he welcomed them, and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed to be cured. Luke 9:11

At CLCC we believe in

Welcoming all people

• Jesus hung out with all sorts of people and welcomed them (Luke 5:27)
• Jesus was not afraid to serve people even though it may get messy sometimes! (John 13:3-9)
• Jesus was inclusive of the ‘outcast’ and the alienated in society. (Luke 14:12-14)

At CLCC we welcome everyone into our church. If you are searching and you are not sure if there is a God we welcome you. If you are a mature Christian we welcome you. We believe that welcome is so much more than a hello at the door so please let us know how we can serve you.

Proclaiming the good news about the kingdom of God (missional)

• We go to where people are to make disciples of all nations and we start with our 'neighbours'. We are all of us missionaries carrying the good news in word and action whatever we do in life. We are 'sent out'! (Matthew 28:19)
• We are salt and light in our workplace, communities and schools carrying the compassion of Jesus in those places. (Matthew 5:13-16)
• We are in the world but not of the world. We take a stand against injustice, evil, sin in our world. (John 17:14-16)

Healing the broken

Jesus came revealing his love and compassion and power to humanity by making people whole. The church today exists to fulfil God’s will to 'make broken people whole'.

• Jesus made people whole by meeting their physical needs (Matthew 15:32). Another one of those needs was healing people’s sicknesses and diseases. (Matthew 8:16-17)
• Jesus brought healing to people’s minds and emotions (Mark 7:20-23, Matthew 18:21-22, 35)
• Jesus brought healing to people’s spirit’s when they were tormented by their inner demons. (Luke 9:1)
